Messages: Romans 12:3-8
Gifts of Grace
3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. 4 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 7 if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; 8 the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” (Mat.22:37-40)
25 But Jesus called them to him and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 26 It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever would be first among you must be your slave.” (Mat. 20:25-27)
Concerning different gifts in the body of Christ, please refer to 1 Cor.12, Eph.4:7-16.
Message Next Week: Romans 12:9-21
Announcements:
1. We welcome all the new ones who are joining us today. May God bless you and lead you into the family of God.
After the meeting, we will have a love feast for lunch. We hope that everyone can stay to enjoy the fellowship and love of the Lord with us. There are tea and tea sets in the hall, and we welcome all to use it for fellowship after lunch.
2. There will be some changes to the food and cleaning service. The food service will divided between 3 groups instead of 4. The cleaning service will be separate from the food service, i.e., those who prepare food will not serve on the cleaning. Details will be planned by brother Ming Pan (food service) and brother Joe Zhou (cleaning service).
For the cleaning service, we would like to ask the Chinese speaking and English young people to serve in these two weeks before the new groups are finalized.
3. If any gospel friend is willing to be baptized into the family of God, please contact brother Yulin Wang.
4. On October 5-7 (Sat. morning to Monday morning, during the Labour Day holiday) there will be our annual spring conference. We hope all the brothers and sisters can separate these days to join the conference. The conference details will be announced later.
