Lord’s Day Message: Reflections on the Lord’s Grace in Year 2017
1 A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! 2 Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! 3 Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! 5 For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. (Psm. 100)
You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance. (Psm. 65:11)
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. … 15 For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God. (2 Cor. 4:7, 15)

Announcements:
- We welcome all the new ones who are joining us today. May God bless you and lead you into this family of God.
- To prepare for the new phone list of the church, please come to brother Yulin Wang to update your contact information.
- Today is our last combined meeting in 2017. After the Lord’s Table, the meeting will open to all the brothers and sisters to share how we experience the Lord’s grace this year. May God gain His glory among us and may many can be encouraged through our sharing. For the time being, except when specially arranged, please do not exceed 5 minutes for each sharing.
- There are a few copies of the 2018 Gospel Calendar left. Please purchase them ($5 dollars per copy) after the meeting. We hope they can be sold out today. There are also bookmarks for all to take freely.
- The young people will have a summer camp organsied by the uni students on January 21st to the 23rd of 2018. The camp will be held at Wisemans Ferry on the topic of “What is the Bible?” Please contact Sister Elsa or Angela for details.
<Reminder>
- For the brothers and sisters, please come on time and bring your own Bible and hymn book for the Lord’s Day meeting.
- During the meeting, please turn off your mobile phone or put the volume on silence and not to walk around or to wonder/talk too loud in the kitchen.
- Please keep the play field and rooms tidy and put all equipments in place after use.
- When you prepare the love feast for Lord’s Day lunch, please do not prepare any food containing nuts as someone may have food allergy.
Please refrain from bringing uncooked food for the love feast so we may lighten the work for the serving ones in the kitchen.
Intercession:
- May the Lord bless the gospel friends among us that they can know how precious the Lord is and are willing to believe in Him.
- Pray for the new believers (6 brothers: Vincent Tai, YuMing Liang, Zylen Liang, Frank Wang, Stephen, and William as well as 10 sisters: Vanessa Lu, Li Zhou, XiaChun Li, YuRong Liu, Lili Chen, Jenny Zhu, Yun-Yue Lin, Li-Qin Wu, Yun Zhu, and Joies. May the Lord establish them in the church life and bless their growth in life.
- May the Lord bless the 8 brothers and sisters who are in the US for the church conference. May they receive abundant supply in the Lord as well as peace and joy in their travel.
- Pray for the brothers and sisters or their relatives who are weak in body or spirit. May the Lord care for them and give them sufficient grace.
