Lord’s Day Message:Conference review
- The lampstand of the tabernacle
- The tent of meeting:
a. God’s revelation: from ark to the showbread table to the lampstand and then to the bronze altar
b. Our experience: from bronze altar (consecration) to laver (cleansing) to the showbread table (life supply) to the lampstand (to be formed) to the incense altar and then the ark (to be one with God)
2. The gold lampstand – for the individual or the church
a. A base – a firm foundation
b. The cup, bulb and flower – the process of spiritual growth
c. A beaten work – to make and enlarge us to contain life for future growth
d. Afterwards the bulb (node) can produce two branches, yet the center is always only unto/for Christ
- Regarding our church life
- The church life is not merely a meeting life, but a living where we can all grow together
- We need a field where we can
a. have brothers and sisters in our heart
b. preach gospel together
c. pray together
d. play together
e. read the bible together
f. read spiritual books together
g. have dinner together
h. spend time together
3. We need to see the local ground

Announcements:
- We welcome all the new ones who are joining us today. May God bless you and lead you into this family of God.
- Today we will review the conference message. We hope many brothers and sisters can share what we have learned or were touched in the conference.
From next week, we will get into the epistle of Galatians for our Lord’s Day message.
- From 19/10 the church will have two places for prayer meeting, one in David Tan’s house (or nearby house) and another in the meeting hall (or houses around Chatswood) so that more brothers and sisters can participate.
- If any young people plans to (or is willing to) visit US and attend the conference in Cleveland, please come to the prayer room for fellowship after the meeting. We will decide our schedule today.
- On Dec. 11 the church plans to have a singing gospel meeting. All brothers and sisters can form a group to sing hymns and to give testimonies. For details please fellowship with Brother Yulin Wang.
<Reminder>
- During the meeting, please turn off your mobile phone or put the volume on silence and not to walk around or to wonder/talk too laud in the kitchen.
- When you prepare the love feast for Lord’s Day lunch, please do not prepare any food containing nuts as someone may have food allergy.
Please refrain from bringing uncooked food for the love feast so we may lighten the work for the serving ones in the kitchen.
Intercession:
- May the Lord bless the gospel friends among us that they can know how precious the Lord is and are willing to believe in Him.
- Pray for the new believers (David Hu, Gerald Huang, Bangde Liu, Peter Zhang and Michael Qiu, 5 brothers and Li Li, Mandy Zhou, Leonie, Berry Fei, Jessica Li, and Hennah Dong 6 sisters) May the Lord establish them in the church life and bless their growth in life.
- Pray for the brothers and sisters or their relatives who are weak in body or spirit. May the Lord care for them and give them sufficient grace. Pray especially for the health of Brothers Shanwon Chow and Sister AhSeng Chow.
- Pray for those year 12 students among us as the examines begin this week. May the Lord give them wisdom and timely help for the HSC exam and lead them in the future.
