Lord’s Day Message: 1 John 5
- Believing Jesus is Christ: the way to receive God’s life which (1-5)
- Makes us the children of God
- Helps us to love God and God’s children
- Makes God’s commandments not burdensome
- Helps us to overcoming the world
- Jesus Christ: the one who accomplished God’s salvation (6-12)
- The testimony of water, blood and Spirit
- The testimony of God
- This testimony is the eternal life God has given us
- The uniqueness of salvation: whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life
- Living in the eternal life (13-21)
- Asking in God’s will
- Praying for brothers (who commits the sins which are not unto death)
- Keeping yourself
a. Not to sin
b. Receiving the understanding the Lord has given
c. Abiding in Him who is true (God’s Son, Jesus Christ. He is true God and eternal life)
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. 4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world–our faith.
11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life–to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that.
18 We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him. 19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

Announcements:
- We welcome all the new ones who are joining us today and hope that you can leave your information for us to contact you in the future. After meeting please stay for lunch and enjoy the love feast together with us.
- The Next Lord’s Day (20/3) the church will have a baptism. If any gospel friend is willing to be baptized, please have a fellowship with Brother Yulin Wang.
Today after the meeting there is a baptism lesson for those who are willing to be baptized. Other gospel friends are also welcome to join.
- From April 22 Friday night to 25 Monday noon (ANZAC day) the church plans to have a conference at Collaroy. This year we encourage both young people and the parents/adults to attend together.
The conference topic will cover Luke 15 which speaks how God has found us and how we find our value and meaning in life. The church also invites two brothers, Mike Samulak and Ben Sheu, as our speakers.
The cost of the camp: $240 for adult, #230.40 for children (Primary school or below), Day trip: $50/Day. If you have financial hardship, please fellowship with Brother Richard Chen.

- From 28/5 to 4/6 the church plans to visit the church in Cleveland (US) to join the conference and pursuing there. If any brothers and sisters are interesting, please contact Brother Yu-Lin Wang by end of March.
<Reminder>
- Brothers and sisters, please bring your own bible to the meeting.
- Please come on time for the meeting. During the meeting, please turn off your mobile phone or put the volume on silence and not to walk around or to wonder in the kitchen.
- When you prepare the love feast for Lord’s Day lunch, please do not prepare any food containing nuts as someone may have food allergy. After the love feast, please remember to bring back your plates.
Intercession:
- May the Lord keep blessing the gospel work of the church and keep us fervent in spirit to preach the gospel. Pray that the Lord will bless the gospel friends among us to receive His salvation. Also pray for those have received the Lord to be baptized into God’s family.
- Pray for three sisters, Li Li, Mandy Zhou and Leonie, who are going to be baptized next Lord’s Day. May the Lord establish their faith for good testimony.
Pray for Brother David Hu and Gerald Huang who were just baptized. May the Lord establish them in the church life and bless their growth in life.
- May the Lord bless the university students among us that in the new school year they can experience the rich supply of grace of the Lord.
- Pray for the coming Collaroy conference. May the Lord bless us through His words that we have more desire to pursue Him and to serve Him.
- Pray for the brothers and sisters or their relatives who are weak in body or spirit. May the Lord care for them and give them sufficient grace. Pray especially for the health of Brothers HinSang Woon and Brother Shanwon Chow.
