Lord’s Day Message: 1 Peter 3
The experience of salvation in various aspects
The exhortation for wives: submitting and adorning (1-6)
Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, (1)
The exhortation for husbands: understanding and honoring (7)
Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. (7)
The general exhortation (8-12)
Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing. (8-9)
The exhortation for those in suffering (13-22)
But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, (14-15)
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, (18)

Announcements:
- We welcome all the new ones who are joining us today and hope that you can leave your information for us to contact you in the future.
- Today after the Lord’s Day meeting there will be a lesson for baptism in the prayer room. We welcome all the gospel friends to attend. We also welcome brothers and sisters come to join and support.
Next Lord’s Day there will be a baptism. If any gospel friend is willing to be baptized, please contact Brother Yulin Wang.
- The church plans to have a gospel meeting on December 13. We hope many brothers and sisters can intercede and prepare for this meeting.
- Because of the request of the strata management company that the meeting hall is not for the residence of a family, the family of Brother Yulin Wang needs to move from the meeting hall and look for another residence. May the brothers and sisters pray for this matter.
<Reminder>
- Brothers and sisters, please bring your own bible to the meeting. Please take the Bible Reading Supplement for your daily Bible reading after the meeting.
- Please come on time for the meeting. During the meeting, please turn off your mobile phone or put the volume on silence.
- When you prepare the love feast for Lord’s Day lunch, please do not prepare any food containing nuts as someone may have food allergy. After the love feast, please remember to bring back your plates.
Intercession:
- We have more than 40 gospel friends who are coming regularly to our gatherings recently. Pray that the Lord will bless them to receive His salvation earlier and they may become a member in God’s family. Also pray that the Lord will keep us fervent in spirit to have more learning in the work of the gospel.
- May the Lord give us his bountiful supply of His words in every meeting so that the brothers and sisters can grow in life and the gospel friends can be attracted into the name of the Lord..
- Please pray for the six young people (Nelson, Chris, Hannah, Christine, Cherie, and Winnie) that our Lord can bless them and lead them into the university which fits them for their growth.
- Pray for the newly baptized sister Yi-Nan Zhao. May the Lord bless her spiritual growth in life.
- Pray for the brothers and sisters or their relatives who are weak in body or spirit. May the Lord care for them and give them sufficient grace. Especially pray for the health of Brothers HinSang Woon and Shanwon Chow.
