Lord’s Day Message: 1 Peter 2
The growth of life
So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation. (1-2)
The building up of life
As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (4-5)
The kingdom of life
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. (9)
The testimony of life
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. (21-25)

Announcements:
- We welcome all the new ones who are joining us today and hope that you can leave your information for us to contact you in the future.
- Today after the Lord’s Day meeting Sister Zhao Yin-Nan will be baptized into the name of the Lord. We hope all the brothers and sisters can come together to praise and pray to support our sister.
- The church plans to have a gospel meeting on December 13. We hope many brothers and sisters can intercede and prepare for this meeting.
- The daughter of David and Chin, Jennifer, had a new born baby yesterday. May the Lord bless entire their household.

- Brothers and sisters, please bring your own bible to the meeting. Please take the Bible Reading Supplement for your daily Bible reading after the meeting.
- Please come on time for the meeting. During the meeting, please turn off your mobile phone or put the volume on silence.
- When you prepare the love feast for Lord’s Day lunch, please do not prepare any food containing nuts as someone may have food allergy. After the love feast, please remember to bring back your plates.
Intercession:
- We have more than 40 gospel friends who are coming regularly to our gatherings recently. Pray that the Lord will bless them to receive His salvation earlier and they may become a member in God’s family. Also pray that the Lord will keep us fervent in spirit to have more learning in the work of the gospel.
- May the Lord give us his bountiful supply of His words in every meeting so that the brothers and sisters can grow in life and the gospel friends can be attracted into the name of the Lord..
- Please pray for the six young people (Nelson, Chris, Hannah, Christine, Cherie, and Winnie) who are in the process of HSC exams. May the Lord give them wisdom and grace in their exams. May the Lord also bless them and lead them into the university which fits them for their growth.
- Pray for the brothers and sisters who are weak in body or spirit. May the Lord care for them and give them grace. Also pray for some relatives of our brothers and sisters (Jack, Susan, Brett) that the Lord may heal and care for them.
