Lord’s Day Message: To Be a Christian of Pursuing
Bible Verses:
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, (Rom. 3:23-24, NKJ)
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. (Mat. 16:24)
But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. (1 Tim. 6:11)
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 3:12-14)
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: (Heb. 12:14)
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (Col. 3:16)

Announcements:
- We welcome all the new ones who are joining us today and hope that you can leave your information for us to contact you in the future.
- On January 9 to 19 there will be two Chinese speaking coworkers, I-Shan Chin and Richard Yeh, visiting the church in Sydney.
From the 16 (evening) to 17 (all day) we will a pursuit meeting at Blue Mountain to help us to live in the church life. If you are willing to participate, please register today with Brother Yu-Lin Wang. We will depart at 3:30 pm (16) and come back after dinner at 17.
On 18 we will also have a small conference. In addition to the regular Lord’s Day meeting, we will have second message at 1 pm.
- We encourage all the brothers and sisters to establish a Bible reading habit in year 2015. Please take the Bible Reading Aids which is design to help for Bible reading.
From January 6, every Tuesday (Chinese) and Thursday (English) there will be Bible study in hall. We welcome brothers and sisters to participate.
If any brother or sister is willing to open your home for a short time/small pursuing of hymns, spiritual books, church history, or anything related to the Christian living, please contact Brother Yu-Lin Wang.
<Reminder>
- Please come on time for the meeting. During the meeting, please turn off your mobile phone or put the volume on silence.
- When you prepare the love feast for Lord’s Day lunch, please do not prepare any food containing nuts that someone may have food allergy. After the love feast, please remember to bring back your plates.
Intercession:
- Praise the Lord for the last gospel meeting that He brought many friends into our midst. Please pray for these friends so that the Lord can lead them into salvation.
Pray for the gospel friends among us, especially the young people and our family members, so that our Lord can open their hearts to see God’s salvation and be willing to receive the Lord and become the member in God’s family.
- Pray for Sister Jane Wang who was just baptised. May the Lord bless her and keep her so that she can grow in the church life.
- Pray for the brothers and sisters who are weak in body or spirit. May the Lord care for them and give them grace.
- May the Lord lead and bless our church in year 2015 that all saints can grow in gospel preaching and in spiritual pursuit.
