Lord’s Day Message:

This is My Life – the Christian Life

Bible Verses: (ESV)

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life– 2 the life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us– 3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:1-3)

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. (1 John 2:1)

But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie–just as it has taught you, abide in him.  (1 John 2:27)

11 For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 12 We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother’s righteous. 13 Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. (1John 3:11-14)

16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 17 But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. … 23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. (1 John 3:16-18, 23)

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7)

Announcements:

  1. We welcome all the new ones who are joining us today and hope that you can leave your information for us to contact you in the future.
  2. At the Collaroy conference last weekend many saints, young and old, have enjoyed the Lord, touched in the spirit, and renewed their offering. We thank and praise the Lord for all of these and we do believe that the Lord will lead us on positively in our church life.

During the conference we are encouraged that Jerry Dong and Vasya Tai were baptized into the name of the Lord. May the Lord bless them and help them to walk with Him all their life.

  1. Brother Michael Samulak will go back to US tomorrow. We thank him for the help which he has given us in the Lord and wish we can all remember and pray for each other in the future.
  2. In the coming Lord’s Days we will spend 3 to 4 weeks to continue on the life of Moses. We hope all the saints can pursue and learn to receive the vision of the Lord, to follow the Lord, and to become the testimony of the Lord.
  3. On June and July there are many trainings and camps in the Mid-West area of USA (Cleveland, OH). If any brothers and sisters are interested to participate, please contact Brother Yulin Wang.

<Reminder>

  1. If the brothers and sisters see something that needs to be fixed in the meeting hall, please report to brothers Michael Lin or Richard Chen. If anyone has questions or suggestions for the cleaning service, please fellowship with brothers Richard Cui or Patrick Li.
  2. When you prepare the love feast for Lord’s Day lunch, please do not prepare any food containing nuts that someone may have food allergy.
  3. During the meeting, please turn off your mobile phone or put the volume in silence.

Intercession:

  1. Give thanks to the Lord for the Collaroy conference and pray that the Lord can continue to shine upon us, to shepherd us, and to lead us to walk on the way of the life.
  2. Pray for Jerry and Vasya who are newly baptized that they can grow healthily in the Lord. Please pray for the gospel friends among us, especially young people and our family members, so that our Lord can open their hearts to see God’s salvation and be willing to receive the Lord and become the member in God’s family.
  3. Pray for the health of each family (especial for the older ones). Pray especially for Sister Da-Nan Lu who just came back from China. May the Lord care her spirit, soul, and body.
